Stand Up For What Is Right, Even If You Stand Alone.

Stand up for what is right even if you have to stay alone.

Only you know what is right for your journey, never change the course of your journey towards something you don't believe in simply because of the actions or desires of others, always stand up for your beliefs and values along the way, and even if you are standing alone, and don't stray from the journey you have ahead of you because of other people's preferences or ideas for yourself.

Don't alter your journey because of the wishes of others along the way, you know what is best for yourself and for your journey, you have the power to impact your journey based on the wishes for yourself and have the right t follow the path that will help you meet your needs and goals, day by day.

Your belief and values are what will help you find the path to a life worth living, never change them due to those around you, Stay on course with the values that matter to you, and give yourself permission to follow the values that will take you to the future you wish to live in.

Don't allow others to live your journey for you, and decide what path you are going to travel ; independently own what you want for the journey and progress still to come ahead of you.

Ultimately, own journey wholeheartedly without allowing preference of others to redirect your path, recognize and own the values you hold close to yourself and allow them to direct you towards a life worth living and independently decide how you wish to make progress and continue to move forward.

One day at a time.

Happiness is Here and Now !

A few ways to practice mindfulness- Choose one of your five senses and focus on it wholly. Perhaps you are slowing down to really taste your food,  observing the smell of many flowers in your garden, or watching the sunrise/set without allowing your mind to wander. Close your eyes (or fix your gaze on an non moving object) and bring your focus to your breath. Inhale and Exhale . Focus on the sensations in your body, and allow wandering thoughts to visit and pass on as you bring your focus back to your breath. If you find it helpful, you can also add a mantra to your breath, such as "Breathe in peace, Exhale chaos." or " breathe in 'I acknowledge' (whatever emotion is at the forefront of your mind), exhale 'I care for' (whatever emotion is on the forefront of your mind.) Run your hands under cold water or hold ice cubes until they melt and focus on the sensation of how it makes your hands feel. One should mindfully participate in an...

Its Okay to cry , the sky does it too !

Its okay to feel sadness and remorse towards the time you've lost to your mental disorder,  and it's okay to be afraid of the fact that you lost time. Yet, one thing rings true : No matter what time you feel you've lost to your mental illness, it was time you spent gaining strength, courage, and wisdom for the road ahead and though you are allowed to feel sadness and mourn that time that mental illness may have taken from your life, also be grateful for that time, in knowing it has brought you to the exact point you need to be at today. You may have missed out on or been overwhelmed by, to feel angry over the cancelled plans and the interruptions of treatment and therapy, to feel remorse towards what your mental disorder has taken from you. AND, you are also allowed to be proud of what the time gave you. You are also allowed to, at the same time as mourning, recognize that your mental illness was just as much as a blessing as it was a curse, as it gave you qualities and ...

If You Are A Little Better Than You Were Yesterday Then That's Enough

Today if you are a little better than you were yesterday, then that's enough. Never believe that you must solve all of your problems at once, that you must be completely recover in a short time or that you are wrong of flawed for continuing to struggle- take small steps each day in the right direction, for the active effort of moving in the right direction is enough to create a gradual impact, one step at a time. Don't hold yourself to the standard that you must take giant steps in order to be successful, take your journey step by step, from going to the grocery by yourself to driving a car after not getting behind the wheel for a couple of years, or even calling a friend you have'nt talked to in a while, it is often the little steps that add up to a great amount in the end, and that ultimately have the most impact upon your journey in the right direction. Don't believe that you have failed or done something wrong if your journey is taking time. Every journey moves a...
